Jumping Shell

Jumping Shell is a puzzle platformer built around leaving your shell lets you switch between a large protected form and a smaller jumper to cross otherwise impossible gaps. Leaving the large shell changes the character's size and jump options in midair. The discarded shell remains behind, so the moment you eject can be more important than the jump itself.

How to Play Jumping Shell

• Move through the first platforms while wearing the shell.
• Jump and press jump again to eject the small character.
• Use the smaller form to pass a gap or high route.
• Recover or use the shell strategically and reach the exit portal.

Controls

• Move: A / D or Left / Right
• Jump: W / Space / Up
• Leave shell: Double jump
• Restart: R

Tips & Tricks

• Eject in midair to gain extra reach over a long hazard gap.
• Remember where the empty shell lands before abandoning it.
• Use the smaller hitbox for passages the full shell cannot enter.
• Do not eject into a spike field without a safe return route.
• Press R to retry a puzzle when a shell is trapped beyond recovery.
